Macmahon Surface Mining Australia is expanding across the East Coast, supporting major open‑cut operations throughout Queensland and New South Wales.

Our People Team plays a key role in supporting our Macmahon Winning Formula. You’ll work with skilled people who care about doing things the right way and contributing to our teams’ success.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll drive talent pipelining and manage end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding for blue and white collar roles. You’ll work closely with project stakeholders to align recruitment rhythms with workforce planning, proactively source and screen candidates, and ensure full compliance with all due‑diligence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, accurate high volume recruitment and talent management
• Proactively source and screen candidates through targeted recruitment and marketing activities
• Maintain high-quality data, systems and reporting
• Contribute to improvements that drive efficiency and safety
• Role-model respect, confidentiality and integrity

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in high volume recruitment within mining, resources, civil or similar industry
• Resilience when working under pressure with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills
• Practical problem-solving and attention to detail
• Commitment to teamwork and delivery of high-quality outcomes
• SuccessFactors experience will be ideal

• Location: Brisbane CBD
• Roster: Monday to Friday
