2:2 / 7:7 Charge Up Operator

Protech are looking for an experienced Production or Development Charge Up Operators to perform work with our client, located in the Goldfields Region of WA on a 2/2 and 7/7 FIFO basis.

About the Role

• Immediate start
• Competetive Pay Rates
• Opportunity to go permanent with client after 6 months.
• 12% Super paid on all hours
• 12-hour day and night shift
• FIFO from Perth/ DIDO from Kalgoorlie.

Key RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safe and Efficient operation of Charge – Up machines
• Follow plans accurately to charge development faces with explosives
• Correct storage and transportation of explosives
• A solid understanding of ground support techniques
• Conduct Pre starts on equipment and workplace inspections

Tickets & Experience Required

• Valid C class Driver’s Licence (Essential)
• WA Shotfirers Licence and Dangerous Goods Security Card (Essential)
• Minimum 12 Months experience in an underground production or development charge up role
• Proficiency in Integrated tool carriers
• Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Valid & contactable references
• Strong understanding and adherence to OHS
