About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Medallion Metals as it moves toward production, supporting commissioning activities and contributing to production ramp-up. You will be part of the team establishing operations and gaining exposure and responsibility that can be difficult to find in larger, more established organisations.

The role exposes you to multiple ore sources, evolving operating strategies and the challenges that come with bringing a new operation into production. You won’t be stepping into a layered operation where every decision is buried in process. This is a nimble team focused on getting things done safely, efficiently and the right way the first time. You'll work alongside leaders who value practical experience and recognise that some of the best ideas come from the people closest to the work.

This role suits experienced WHS professionals who want to stay technical and operational rather than move into pure corporate support. You will partner closely with statutory position holders, monitor contractor performance, and actively contribute as a member of the Emergency Response Team with first aid capability. Expect high field visibility, routine inspections, pre-starts, toolbox talks, and direct influence on safety culture without managing a team.

About You

From the start, you’ll be:

• You will spend most of your time in operational areas delivering hands-on safety leadership across exploration, construction, mining, and processing activities.
• Provide direct coaching to supervisors and crews, verify critical controls, facilitate risk assessments, and embed practical risk-based decision making into daily work.
• Lead or support investigations, track actions to closure, and maintain MSMS compliance without bureaucracy overload.
