Civmec is seeking experienced Special Class Welders to join our major projects across Western Australia. We have multiple opportunities available on various DIDO and FIFO rosters

The Role
- Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards.
- Undertake and pass all necessary weld qualifications in required weld processes
- Perform the welding of steel components in all positions
- Maintain all correct consumables, feeds, amperages and pre heat in accordance with applicable weld procedures
- Perform 6g TIG welding techniques
- Weld steel structures in sequence to eliminate shrinkage and distortion of steel components
About You
- Recognised Welding Certificate
- Previous records of passed welder qualifications (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to pass appropriate Weld Test
- Minimum 3 years with similar welding processes, specifications and standards
- Gantry Crane competency - desirable
- VETASSESS skills assessment completed (required for international/visa‑sponsored candidates)
