Warehouse Operator - FIFO

Our client is a well-established contractor operating within the coal mining sector, delivering critical site support services across regional Queensland. Known for their strong safety culture and operational excellence, they are seeking reliable and experienced personnel to support a key short-term project.

Your new role

You will be engaged as a Warehouse Operator on a coal mine site, working a 7/7 FIFO roster consisting of both day and night shifts (12.5 hours). This is a 10-week contract commencing in the first week of April, with potential to extend for the right candidate. The role involves end-to-end warehouse operations, supporting site teams to ensure materials, tools and equipment are available and accounted for at all times.

What you'll need to succeed

• Current Forklift Licence
• Coal Board Medical
• Standard 11
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical
• Ability to complete a police check
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a similar role on a coal mine site
• Must be living in Rockhampton, Townsville or Cairns for FIFO
• Availability to work the full 10-week project

What you'll get in return

You will be rewarded with excellent flat rates of $56 per hour for day shift and $63 per hour for night shift, working a balanced 7/7 roster. This opportunity offers consistent hours, FIFO arrangements from approved locations, and the chance to secure an extension beyond the initial contract if you prove to be the right fit. You’ll be part of a professional site team on a well-run coal operation.
