Located in the picturesque south-west and Peel regions of Western Australia, South32 Worsley Alumina is on a journey to become the world’s leading Alumina producer where our workforce value the lifestyle that Worsley Alumina has to offer.

Our integrated Bauxite Mine, Alumina Refinery and Port Operation is creating the essential products needed for a sustainable low carbon future.

SOUTH32’s VACATION PROGRAM

We’re looking for our future leaders and technical experts and have exciting opportunities for students in their penultimate year. Our 2026 opportunities on offer are the following:

• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Automation and robotics Engineering
• Structural / Civil Engineering
• Data / AI engineering streams

ABOUT YOU

• Currently studying towards relevant degree
• An Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Available for the full duration of the program: 12 weeks, commencing November 2026
• Based in Western Australia

Worsley Alumina Refinery - Collie

Our Vacation Program runs over a 12-week period and is a pathway to our Graduate Program. It provides practical and hands-on experience to develop new skills and gain technical knowledge required to build your career and reach your potential.

The Vacation Program provides you with a unique opportunity to learn and excel in your chosen career. When you join the South32 Vacation Program you will:

• Gain practical and meaningful experience at your preferred operation
• Undertake a project relevant to your degree that you will own and deliver
