Our client is a well-established WA-owned business delivering environmental maintenance, civil and resource recovery services across Perth. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking experienced Vacuum Truck Operators to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Driver who enjoys a mix of driving and hands-on work and is looking for steady local hours with the opportunity to move into a permanent role.

$39.45 - $45.00/hr + super + penalties | Depending on experience Monday to Friday | Typically 6:30am - 2:40pm + overtime available Local Metro Work PPE Supplied | Long-Term Opportunity
What Will You Be Doing?
Starting from the Malaga depot each morning, you'll head out in a company vehicle to jobs across the Perth metropolitan area. Your duties will include:

• Driving and operating a manual HR vacuum truck
• Cleaning and maintaining stormwater pits and drainage systems
• Completing daily pre-start checks and site documentation
• Lifting and handling hoses, snorkels and other equipment
• Opening and closing stormwater pit lids
• Carrying out high-pressure water cleaning
• Operating CCTV equipment and taking before-and-after photos of completed works
• Completing general manual labouring duties alongside the crew
• Reporting any site damage, incidents or safety concerns as required

What Do You Need To Be Successful?

• Current Manual HR Driver's Licence
• Previous HR truck driving experience, ideally within waste, drainage or similar industries
• Current Construction White Card
• Physically fit and comfortable completing manual labouring duties
• Reliable, safety-focused team player with good communication skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol assessment
• Full Australian working rights
