Underground Superintendent

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Underground Superintendent to join our Southern Goldfields operation.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading underground mining activities, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and in line with business objectives. This role is ideal for a proven leader who is passionate about building strong teams, driving accountability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

About the Role

As Underground Superintendent, you will:

• Provide leadership and direction to underground mining teams.
• Drive a proactive safety culture and ensure statutory compliance.
• Deliver development and production targets through effective planning and execution.
• Work closely with Technical Services, Geology, Maintenance and Processing teams.
• Mentor and develop supervisors and operational personnel.
• Monitor and improve operational performance, productivity and costs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the underground operation.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to site-wide success.

About You

You are a highly capable underground mining professional with a proven track record in leading teams and delivering operational results.

You will bring:

• Extensive underground mining experience in a production environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Experience managing operational performance, safety and costs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A commitment to safety, accountability and operational excellence.
• The ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic mining environment.

Essential Requirements

• Underground Supervisor's Certificate.
• Senior First Aid Certificate.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.
• National Police Clearance.
• Strong understanding of WA mining legislation and statutory requirements.
