Underground Charge Up Crew with a valid WA Shot firer’s Licence for an immediate start at a well-established underground operation located in Kalgoorlie.n (FIFO and Residential opportunities available).

This opportunity offers ongoing work with the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment, within a safety‑driven production environment.

Your new role

You will be responsible for the safe and compliant charging of development rounds and stopes in accordance with blast designs, site procedures, and Western Australian legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Charge development rounds and longholes in line with blast plans
• Operation of charge‑up equipment including Normet Charmec, Orica, or Dyno Nobel emulsion delivery systems
• Handling and loading of ANFO and emulsion explosives
• Conduct pre‑start inspections and basic maintenance of charge‑up equipment
• Ensure strict compliance with explosives handling, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with shotfirers, supervisors, and underground production crews

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven underground charge up experience
• Current WA Shot firer’s Licence – essential
• Valid Underground Surface Induction
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and D&A screening
• Strong safety focus and ability to work in a high‑risk underground environment
