Underground Charge Up – 2/2 Roster

About the Role

Protech are looking for experienced Production Charge Up Operators to perform work with our client, located in Tanami Desert on a 2/2 FIFO basis.

Key Details

• Pay Rate: $70.65 Casual Flat Rate + Super on ALL HOURS
• Roster: Tues – Tues; 2/2
• Immediate start
• Point of Hire: Darwin, Alice Springs, Perth or Brisbane

Key Responsibilities

• Operating charge-up machines with efficiency
• Follow plans accurately to charge development faces with explosives
• Correct storage and transportation of explosives
• A solid understanding of ground support techniques
• Operation of an Integrated Tool Carrier
• Conduct Pre-starts on equipment and workplace inspections

Tickets & Experience Required

• 1+ years’ experience in an underground production charge up role
• Experience with Emulsion (Desirable)
• Proficiency in Integrated Tool Carrier
• Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
• Valid & contactable references
• Strong understanding and adherence to OHS
