Underground Auto Electrician/HD Fitter

• Up to $93/hr + super, depending on experience
• 2:2 or 7:7 rosters available
• 3-month temp-to-permanent contract
• FIFO from Perth or DIDO options available

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, problem-solve and fault-find on the job.
• Test equipment, ensure safety compliance and undertake appropriate risk management, including completion of Take 5s, JSEAs and Hazards IDs.
• Participate in regular drug and alcohol screening onsite.
• Scope jobs accurately for quality repair of plant and equipment, including estimating the time, materials and resources required to complete the job.

Skills & Experience

• Trade Certificate (Australian recognised or equivalent VETASSESS).
• Current, valid driver’s licence (C Class minimum).
• National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months).
• Experience maintaining, servicing and attending breakdown repairs on:
  • Sandvik DD421-60c, DD422i jumbos and LH621i.
  • CAT R2900XE and R2900G loaders with RCT guidance, including surface operation.
  • Volvo L120F ITs.
  • Normet MF605DA charge-up equipment.
• Aircon ticket highly desired.
• RCT tickets highly desired.
