Job Description

Protech are looking for experienced Underground Shotcreter to perform work with our client, located at a mine site in the NT on a 2/2 FIFO basis.

About the Role

Hourly Pay Rate: up to $70.65
Super on ALL Hours
Weekly Pay (Thurs)
Casual Contractor Position (with a chance for temp-to-perm subject to availability)
2/2 Roster, Week of Days, Week of Nights
POH: Darwin, Alice Springs, Perth, or Brisbane. Fly directly to site

Key Responsibilities

Operate shotcrete equipment to apply ground support to underground headings and excavations
Apply shotcrete in accordance with mine plans, ground support requirements and quality standards.
Conduct pre-start inspections and perform basic equipment maintenance.
Monitor shotcrete quality, coverage and thickness to ensure compliance with site specifications.
Work collaboratively with underground mining, services and engineering teams to achieve production targets.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to a safe, clean and productive work environment.

Tickets & Experience Required

At least 12 months’ demonstrated experience in operating underground shotecrete equipment (Essential)
Valid Manual Driver’s License
Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing.
Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
Valid & contactable references
Strong understanding and adherence to OHS
