About the Company
Hays Mining & Resources are currently seeking experienced Earthmover Tyre Fitters to join leading mining operations across Western Australia. This role will see you working on a large fleet of surface mining equipment, carrying out tyre fitting, maintenance, inspections, and repairs on some of the industry's largest earthmoving machinery. We are looking for safety-focused operators with proven experience working on high-profile mining fleets and large OTR (Off-The-Road) tyres.
About the Role
- Fitting, changing, repairing, and maintaining OTR tyres
- Conducting routine tyre inspections and condition monitoring
- Diagnosing tyre wear patterns and identifying defects
- Operating tyre handlers and associated support equipment
- Maintaining accurate tyre management records
- Responding to breakdowns and site maintenance requirements
- Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures and standards
- Working collaboratively with maintenance and production teams
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as an Earthmover Tyre Fitter within a mining environment
- Demonstrated experience handling large OTR mining tyres
- Experience with large OTR mining tyres sizes: 40.00R57, 33.00R51, 27.00R49, 50/65R51, 37.25R35, 23.5R25
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- High regard for safe work practices
