The Role & Project

MACA Mining is looking for skilled Tyre Fitters to join our maintenance team at Karlawinda Gold Project Maintenance Team on a 2:1 roster.

Located near Newman in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, The Karlawinda Gold Project is a high-quality, long-life open-pit gold mine owned by Capricorn Metals. It’s one of the newest and most productive gold operations in the state, with a projected mine life of over a decade and ongoing production that exceeds 100,000 ounces of gold per year.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate 2 in Tyre Fitting (Essential).
  • HR Driver's Licence (desirable).
  • Minimum 3 years' mining experience working on heavy earthmoving fleet
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage and execute tasks independently
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with Work Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Must present with a “Can Do” attitude to work and safety.
