About the Role
Step into a role where your dual-trade expertise truly shines. As a Tradesperson - Electrical Instrumentation, you’ll be part of a tight-knit crew at Evolution Mining’s Cowal site, reporting directly to the Electrical Supervisor. This isn’t just another maintenance gig, you will be working across a diverse gold processing operation, with exposure to cutting-edge instrumentation and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and calibrating equipment like Vega density gauges, Yokogawa pressure sensors, and Siemens PLCs
- Diagnosing faults and responding to breakdowns across the processing plant
- Leading shutdown activities and mentoring apprentices when needed

Does this sound like you?
You’re a hands-on technician who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. With at least 3 years experience in heavy industry or mining, you’re confident working with high-voltage systems, instrumentation, and fault diagnostics. You take pride in doing things safely, efficiently, and with a touch of ingenuity.
Your toolkit includes:
- NSW Electrical Licence
- Cert III/IV in Instrumentation
- Experience with Pronto, Siemens PLCs, and interpreting technical diagrams
- EEHA, HV Switching, and high-risk work licences (EWP/Forklift), along with confined space certification, are not prerequisites for this role.
