• Full-time, permanent position based at our Beta Hunt site based in Kambalda
• Remuneration includes base salary + site allowance + wellbeing allowance + up to 15% STI bonus + Superannuation
• A family friendly roster to suit your lifestyle – 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off, flying in and out on Tuesdays
• Flexible employment options including FIFO, DIDO, and residential opportunities in Kambalda & Kalgoorlie

The Role

• Assist with the installation, testing, maintenance and record keeping of mechanical equipment.
• Undertake routine daily workplace, machinery/equipment inspections and pre-starts at areas of responsibility
• Complete daily PM tasks and record equipment history
• Use the safety database (INX) to complete individual training and LMS procedures
• Ensure risk assessments and workplace inspections are conducted to identify hazards and associated risks and implement effective control measures with the use of Step-backs and JSEA
• Actively participate in OHSE discussions at Pre-start and Safety meetings.
• Reporting of incidents and near miss events
• Basic dewatering generator maintenance and inspection including pipelines, flow meters and refueling
• Shutdown preparation

What Do I Need

• Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
• Work experience in gold, heavy industry, mineral processing environment or equivalent
• First aid/ confined space /working at height (Desirable)
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• Dogging (Desirable)
• Poly welding (Desirable)
• Rigging and Dogging (Desirable)
• Scaffolding (Desirable)
