About the Role

Join Komatsu's Reman team in Welshpool and help rebuild critical original manufacturer standards. You'll work hands-on with hydraulic cylinders, spindles, wheel motors and powertrain assemblies, restoring components for some of the toughest mining and construction equipment in Australia.

Role Located: Komatsu Welshpool Working Hours: 5 days on 2 days off, 38 hours per week Potential Annual Earnings: $110,000

Key Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and remanufacturing work to a high standard, in line with original manufacturer standards and Komatsu quality requirements.
• Source parts efficiently to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
• Maintain personal trade tooling and ensure workshop tools remain safe and serviceable.
• Support quality assurance activities by identifying, reporting and resolving product quality issues.
• Assist with the repair, overhaul and assembly of plant equipment and components to manufacturer specifications and agreed timeframes.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to build technical skills and competency.

About You / Requirements

• Previous Trades Assistant experience working on heavy equipment, mining, or industrial machinery.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.
• Current Dogging Licence.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Commitment to safety, hazard identification and risk management.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely.
• Knowledge of basic machining processes will be highly regarded.
