About the Role

We are offering an excellent opportunity to work as a Trades Assistant within the Open Cut Maintenance Department at Moolarben Coal Operations. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting trades with their daily activities. This could range from cleaning equipment and work areas to organising spare parts, tools, and equipment. Additionally, the role would provide labor support on field maintenance repairs. This is a dayshift only position.

About You / Requirements

Essential Criteria:

• Mechanical aptitude
• An exceptional commitment to safety
• Ability and desire to work well within a multi skilled team environment.
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent standards of workmanship
• The ability to work a shift roster including night shift.

Desirable Criteria:

• Heavy equipment servicing experience
• Operating heavy equipment
