Genesis Minerals are currently seeking Process Technicians for permanent opportunities to join the team at our newest Jupiter operation in Laverton, situated a short 15 minutes away from Mt Morgan Camp, and just an hours’ flight from Perth to Leonora, WA. This opportunity is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off roster Fly-in Fly-out from Perth, or Drive-in Drive-out from Kalgoorlie or local residential.

Reporting to the Process Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of the Processing Plant to ensure production, metallurgical and safety targets are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the gold processing plant, including:
  • Crushing and grinding circuits
  • Gravity recovery systems
  • Leaching and adsorption (CIL/CIP) circuits
  • Elution, electrowinning and gold room activities
  • Tailings disposal and associated services
• Conduct routine inspections, start-ups, shutdowns and troubleshooting of plant equipment
• Monitor plant parameters and make process adjustments to optimise throughput and recovery
• Identify and report equipment faults and process deviations
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks and liaise with maintenance teams as required
• Complete accurate operational logs, reports and shift handovers
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance and housekeeping
• Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

We would love to hear from you if you have​:

• Minimum of 2 years Previous demonstrated Process Plant work experience
• Strong ability to work effectively within a team
• Strong communication skills, including communicating with people from different backgrounds and cultures
• Ability to work to tight deadlines on multiple tasks
• High level of enthusiasm for the work with high performance goals
• Tickets / Licences for the following Skid steer, Fork lift High Risk Licence, Mini excavator, Integrated Tool carrier, WAH, CSE, Atmospheric gas testing, Gantry Crane, C Class drivers licence.
