Desal Technician

  • $54.43 per hour
  • 7/7 rotating day and night roster
  • Olympic Dam, SA (Residential / FIFO from Adelaide available)

About our Client

Our leading global mining and resource client is a leading producer of iron ore, copper, metallurgical coal, nickel and potash. As part of their Minerals Australia operation, you will have the opportunity to work onsite with one of the world's most significant deposits of copper, gold and uranium including underground and surface operations and operates a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal.

About the role:

Were currently seeking a Desal Technician on C Crew roster (7/7), supporting site water operations.

What you will be doing:

  • Conduct regular water testing and sampling
  • Perform field inspections of dams and water infrastructure
  • Monitor water levels, identify leaks and report breakdowns
  • Assist with sewer testing when needed
  • Operate forklifts when required
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with site standards

What you will need:

  • Current Drivers Licence (mandatory)
  • Forklift ticket highly regarded
  • Previous Olympic Dam mining experience highly regarded
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in field-based environments
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
