The Role As the Business Systems Analyst of our Mining Operations, your role is to support and optimises mining systems, data and processes across planning, geology, survey and production. Working closely with operational and technical teams, the role drives system improvements, integrations, reporting, data quality and user adoption.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Translate operational requirements into functional specifications, user stories and solution requirements.
• Define and support integration requirements between mining applications, geological databases, production reporting platforms, ERP, maintenance, HSE, fleet management and business intelligence systems.
• Develop requirements documentation, process workflows, data flows and solution designs.
• Support the integration of mining, geological, production, ERP, maintenance, HSE and BI systems.
• processes and data exchange between planning systems and source datasets.
• Define data mappings, interfaces, dependencies and data transfer requirements.
• Support operational reporting across key mining KPIs including tonnes, grade, ounces, productivity and mining rates.
• Work with BI teams to enhance Power BI datasets, dashboards and operational reporting.
• Coordinate system testing, UAT, data validation, defect resolution and release activities.
• Develop user guides, SOPs and training materials to support system adoption.

About You
You are a collaborative and solutions-focused professional who builds strong relationships and can confidently work with a diverse range of stakeholders. You’ll be a clear communicator with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical outcomes.

You bring:

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst,
• Systems Analyst, Mining Systems Analyst, Applications Analyst or similar role.
• Experience supporting mining, geology, resource modelling, survey, production reporting or technical services systems.
• Practical exposure to applications such as Deswik, Micromine, Datamine,Datashed, Surpac or similar mining technical platforms.
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, preparing functional specifications and supporting system changes.
• Strong understanding of mining operations workflows, technical services processes, geological data management and mining systems support practices.
• Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, integrations, testing, UAT and go-live activities.

This is a diverse role, being newly created, you can make it your own. You will be based in our Perth City office working on a Monday-Friday basis.
