About the Role
We’re seeking a driven Supervisor – Permit to support our Processing team on an 8/6 roster FIFO from Perth. This position is offered on permanent full-time basis.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
- The overall management, implementation and safe application of the Permit to Work system within the Concentrator.
- Help manage the day-to-day requirements of the Permit Office and Permit Officers to ensure production and maintenance permit requirements are known, scheduled and implemented.
- Ensure the highest standards are maintained throughout the permit process by all Permit Officers, Authorised Isolators, Permit Holders and users. Conduct regular audits of the system to ensure best practices are maintained.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Permit to Work systems within a processing environment
- Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large-scale, continuous operation plant
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Strong background in mineral processing, including conveyors, crushing, grinding, hydrocyclone classification, magnetic separation, long distance slurry pipeline and TSF management
- Frontline Management and TAE certifications are desirable
- A current Drivers licence
