Civmec has secured a major civil and earthworks package with BHP in the Pilbara, and we’re looking for an experienced Civil Supervisors to help lead the delivery of this project on site.

The scope includes construction of a new Car Dumper vault, incorporating piling, dewatering, structural retention systems, and associated vault works, along with the full FRP concrete package. You’ll play a key role in coordinating crews, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving progress across all civil activities.

Roster: FIFO 2:1, including night shift.

The Role

• Supervise civil construction activities, including earthworks, concrete structures, and site preparation.
• Be familiar with construction components including earthworks, services, concrete procedures and statutory requirements
• Plan work activities and identify hazards and controls in consultation with employees
• Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections and project scheduling
• Overseeing the standard and progress of subcontractors' work
• Execute the construction portion of project plans through detailed planning and day-to-day direction of field activities
• Conduct and record site inspections and risk assessments (including Hazard ID, risk analysis and control)
• Communicate and report on HSE issues/incidents (e.g. toolbox meetings) and participate in the resolution of HSE issues

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience in construction.
• WA Statutory Supervisor S26 Qualification
• Demonstrated experience performing detailed civil earthworks, drainage, kerbing, asphalt, and hard landscaping.
• Well-developed interpersonal & communication skills.
• Experience working on BHP sites is highly regarded
