Superintendent - Security & Emergency Services

The Opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking a Superintendent – Security and Emergency Services to join our site-based Health and Safety team in this permanent, full-time role. This position operates on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, offering a great work-life balance.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Emergency management and response;
• Emergency capability and training;
• Security operations and systems;
• Contractor and service delivery management;
• Risk, compliance and investigations;
• External agency and stakeholder engagement;
• Asset, budget and resource management;
• Leadership and continuous improvement.

Successful applicant will have:

You have strong leadership and decision-making capability and significant experience in security, emergency services, fire or paramedical operations as well as experience in mining, resources or heavy industry.  In addition you will have demonstrated experience managing contracted service providers and proven involvement in incident response and emergency management along with experience in investigations, audits and compliance systems.

Key Requirements:

• Cert IV in Security Risk Management (or equivalent);
• Cert III Mine Emergency Response & Rescue (or equivalent);
• MSIC (ability to obtain);
• Senior First Aid (or higher)
• Current HR (Manual) driving licence.
• SAP experience (desirable).
