The Opportunity

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full ownership of ground support operations underground. You’ll lead shift supervisors and operational crews to deliver the mining plan safely, on schedule, and within budget—while driving performance against monthly KPIs.This is a hands on leadership role suited to an underground professional who thrives on accountability, mentoring strong teams, and maintaining uncompromising safety and production standards.

Roster & Travel 8 days on / 6 days off 12 hour shifts FIFO from any Australian capital city

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all underground ground support activities
• Ensure safe, high quality execution of the mining plan
• Manage and mentor underground shift supervisors and crews
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, productivity, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with mine plans, procedures, and site standards
• Deliver production targets while maintaining Redpath’s safety culture

About You / Requirements

You’re an experienced underground mining leader who brings both technical expertise and people leadership to the table. Essential

• Proven experience in underground mining supervision
• Strong knowledge of contemporary underground mining and ground support practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop supervisors and crews
• Excellent problem solving, organisation, and time management skills
• Valid manual driver’s licence
• Positive, solutions focused attitude aligned with Redpath values
