Leading Hand – Diesel Fitter | Mining Maintenance
7/7 Roster | $79.23/hr + Super on All Hours | Permanent Opportunity
Ready to take the next step into a leadership role? MacKellar is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join our maintenance team at the Curragh North operation. This is your chance to step into a hands-on leadership position where you’ll guide a crew, drive safety standards, and keep a high-performing fleet moving.

What You’ll Get:

- $79.23 per hour (~$180K package)

What You’ll Need:
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic
- Demonstrated experience as a Leading Hand or in a supervisory capacity
- Strong background working with heavy mobile plant and mining equipment
- Effective leadership, communication and team coordination skills
- Current S1,2,3 or G1,8,9 (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s licence
