Our client is a leading Water Treatment Plant. Due to growth, and expansion of the plant they are seeking an experienced Structural Supervisor with strong heavy industry fixed plant experience, to join their team.

About the Role
As the Structural Supervisor, you will provide technical leadership and day-to-day supervision of the structural engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of structural design packages and engineering services throughout the project lifecycle.
Working closely with project management and other engineering disciplines, you will coordinate engineering activities, review technical outputs, manage priorities, and provide engineering support during construction and commissioning.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to;

  • Lead and supervise the structural engineering team
  • Manage the delivery of structural engineering design packages, ensuring quality, safety and compliance with project requirements.
  • Review and approve structural calculations, reports, specifications and engineering documentation.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and designers.
  • Ensure designs consider constructability within a live brownfields operating environment.
  • Participate in design reviews, constructability workshops, risk assessments and multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
  • Review contractor submissions, technical queries and requests for information (RFIs).
  • Support procurement, construction and commissioning activities with timely engineering advice.
  • Monitor engineering progress, manage priorities and ensure deliverables are achieved in accordance with project schedules.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Australian Standards, client specifications and engineering best practice.

To be Successful
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 10+ years’ relevant experience within water, heavy industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supervising structural teams on major projects.
  • Strong experience delivering brownfields projects within operational facilities.
  • Sound understanding of Australian Standards, engineering codes and industry best practice.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Full Australian working rights.

Further Details
Location: Kwinana
Contract: 18-month fixed term
Salary: $170K per annum + Super (negational based on experience) 
Hours of work: Monday – Friday: 40 hours per week
