About our client
Our client is one of Australia's leading contract mining companies. They have a long track record of delivering surface and underground projects for major resources companies across the country.

They're looking for an experienced Statutory Supervisor who leads from the front on safety, gets the best out of their crew and takes pride in a job well done.

The role
You'll lead your crew on shift and carry the statutory responsibilities that come with the position, keeping operations safe, productive and compliant. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising crews to deliver each shift's plan safely and efficiently
• Meeting all statutory and site safety requirements, and keeping accurate records
• Running pre-start meetings, workplace inspections and effective shift handovers
• Identifying hazards, assessing risk and making sure controls are in place and working
• Coaching and developing your crew, and building a speak-up culture where everyone is respected

About you
To be considered, you must have:

• A Statutory Supervisor Record of Examination Certificate
• Completed WHS units BSBWHS411 and RIIRIS402E

You'll also bring:

• Solid experience supervising crews in a mining environment
• Clear communication and the confidence to make sound decisions on shift
• A genuine commitment to safety and high-quality work
