About the Role

As a Shotcrete Sprayer, you will be responsible for the safe and effective application of shotcrete to underground development headings, ensuring ground support requirements are achieved while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Join the Team Building Australia's Next Major Block Cave Mine
• Redpath Australia has been selected as the preferred mining contractor for the Northparkes E22 Block Cave Development Project in Parkes, NSW.
• We are seeking experienced Shotcrete Sprayers to join our underground mining team and support the safe and efficient development of one of Australia's most significant underground mining projects.
• Operate underground shotcrete spraying equipment
• Apply shotcrete to development and production areas
• Ensure compliance with engineering and ground support requirements
• Conduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks
• Monitor shotcrete quality and application standards
• Identify and report hazards, equipment defects and safety concerns
• Work closely with Agi Operators, Development Crews and Supervisors
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, productivity and quality outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous underground mining experience as a Shotcrete Sprayer
• Experience operating Normet or similar shotcrete spraying equipment
• Strong understanding of underground ground support practices
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant mining competencies, licences and tickets
• Current Australian work rights
• Ability to pass site medical and employment requirements
