Site Supervisor & Site Engineer

Pearl Recruitment is partnering with a major civil contractor delivering subdivision, roadworks and remediation projects across North Queensland.

We are seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor / Site Engineer to join their Cairns-based team. 

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 + Vehicle + Super Location: Cairns-based Type: Permanent, Full-Time

The Role

• Coordinate day-to-day site activities and lead site crews.
• Oversee roads, drainage, stormwater, sewer and underground utilities.
• Manage slope stabilisation and remediation works.
• Coordinate piling, drilling, grouting and shotcreting activities.
• Manage subcontractors, procurement, QA and project documentation.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and construction plans.
• Monitor quality, safety, productivity and project progress.
• Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Be actively involved on site — this is a hands-on role.

About You

• 2–5+ years' experience in civil construction, engineering or site supervision.
• Subdivision, roadworks or civil infrastructure experience.
• Understanding of roads, drainage, utilities and earthworks.
• Experience or strong understanding of slope stabilisation, piling, drilling, grouting and shotcreting.
• Strong QA, procurement and subcontractor coordination skills.
• Practical, organised and confident leading from the front.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Full Australian working rights required — no sponsorship available.
