About the Role
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, plant, materials, and equipment to keep projects moving, with a strong focus on safety, quality, environmental compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Plan and execute construction activities in collaboration with Project Managers and Engineers, resolving challenges as they arise and ensuring resources are in the right place at the right time.
- Provide leadership to site teams, support a culture of collaboration and accountability, and build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to project planning, risk management, programme improvements, and continuous innovation in how work is delivered.
- Ensure all site activities meet legislative, contractual, and organisational requirements while helping drive outstanding project outcomes.
- Be a hands-on leader who enjoys being out in the field, developing high-performing teams, and delivering infrastructure that supports local communities.
About You
- You're a proven construction leader who knows how to bring people together, solve problems, and keep projects progressing safely and efficiently.
- You may bring:
- Extensive supervisory experience within construction, civil infrastructure, or utilities environments
- Previous experience leading site-based teams and coordinating subcontractors
- Experience planning, organising, and delivering construction works from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality requirements, and environmental management practices
- Experience managing site safety, risk assessments, and compliance requirements
- The ability to interpret project documentation and contribute to practical project delivery solutions
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and maintain positive working relationships

- Ideally, you'll hold a qualification in frontline management or a related discipline, along with any licences and certifications required for the role.
