Your Role on Site

  • You will be the heartbeat of our village operations, ensuring everything runs seamlessly while fostering a welcoming environment for residents.
  • Lead the Operation: Oversee all site-wide accommodation, cleaning, and catering services.
  • Drive the Financials: Take full ownership of site performance, managing P&L, labour budgets, and food costs.
  • Manage the Logistics: Run accommodation reservation systems with accuracy and precision.
  • Build Partnerships: Cultivate impeccable, trusting, and proactive relationships with our clients.
  • Empower Your Team: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse, hardworking on-site crew to deliver exceptional service.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven Leadership: Solid, stable management experience within a fast-paced remote, village, or large-scale hospitality environment.
  • Tech Savvy: Strong administrative and computer skills, with direct experience using reservation systems (such as VAMS, SAMS, or RMS).
  • The Right Attitude: A resourceful, resilient, and "can-do" approach, backed by a genuine commitment to customer service.
  • Remote Readiness: Physical fitness and the adaptability to thrive in varying remote weather conditions.
  • Licensing: A current manual driver’s licence (a forklift ticket is highly desirable).
  • Bonus Advantage: A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and hands-on catering experience will put your application at the top of the pile. -Compliance Note: Successful candidates must be able to satisfy a national criminal history check, complete a pre-employment/coal board medical.
