Job Description

Working on a Monday to Friday 5/2 roster, you'll enjoy the benefits of a metro-based role while contributing to projects that help shape Perth's future. Plus, you'll receive a 10% uplift while working onsite on our Metro Infrastructure projects.

As a Site Engineer, you'll work closely with Project Engineers, Supervisors and the wider project team to coordinate engineering activities, support project delivery and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

To be considered for the position you must possess the following as a minimum:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience as a Site Engineer within the civil or infrastructure industry.
  • Experience in road, pavement or general civil infrastructure projects is highly regarded.
  • Main Roads WA project experience is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction quality, safety and engineering processes.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar project planning software is desirable.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing project team.

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of engineering activities across the project.
  • Preparing schedules, short-term plans and resource forecasts.
  • Monitoring project progress, productivity and site performance.
  • Coordinating subcontractors and assisting with the management of work packages.
  • Ensuring works are completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
  • Supporting QA documentation, inspections, ITPs and project records.
  • Assisting with procurement, planning and engineering documentation.
  • Monitoring compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants and the project team to support successful project outcomes.
  • Providing technical support to Project Engineers and site teams as required.
