Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Training Administrator to join the Training Department at Phosphate Hill Mine on a FIFO basis. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure all training, competency and compliance records are accurately maintained and up to date. Working closely with site trainers, supervisors and employees, you will play a critical role in supporting workforce compliance and training requirements across the operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee training and competency records.
  • Coordinate training bookings, inductions and assessments.
  • Manage training documentation and filing systems.
  • Enter and update employee information within site systems.
  • Generate training reports and compliance data as required.
  • Communicate with employees and supervisors regarding training requirements and expiry dates.
  • Assist with onboarding and site induction administration.
  • Ensure all records are maintained in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Training Department.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous administration experience in a mining, industrial, construction or training environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable

  • Experience using SAP for training, personnel or administrative functions.
  • Previous experience managing training and competency records.
  • Exposure to mining operations and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) or workforce management software.
