About the Role
Shutdown Electrical Planner based at Christmas Creek on a roster of 8 days on / 6 days off; 6-month assignment with potential to extend. You will plan electrical shutdown activities and ensure work is scoped, scheduled and prepared for execution. You will develop and maintain detailed work packs, schedules and resource plans while coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, contractors and site teams to ensure shutdown activities are planned accurately and delivered safely within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate electrical shutdown activities
- Develop and maintain detailed shutdown work packs
- Develop and maintain shutdown schedules and resource plans
- Use SAP to manage work orders, notifications, job plans and materials coordination; ensure shutdown work is appropriately scoped and prepared ahead of execution
- Coordinate labour, materials and other requirements for planned shutdown activities
- Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, contractors and site teams
- Monitor planning requirements and ensure activities remain aligned with shutdown deadlines
- Maintain accurate planning information and documentation
- Support the safe and effective execution of electrical shutdown activities
About You
- Previous experience planning electrical shutdowns within mining, resources or a heavy industrial environment
- MUST have strong SAP experience, particularly across work orders, notifications, job plans and materials coordination
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining shutdown work packs
- Experience developing schedules and resource plans
- Strong understanding of shutdown planning and execution requirements
- Ability to coordinate effectively across Operations, Maintenance, contractors and site teams
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately and effectively to shutdown deadlines
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
