Shotfirers

Scotford Fennessy is seeking experienced Shotfirers for a FIFO opportunity with a well-established open-pit mining operation in Western Australia. Offering $60-$75/hr + super on all hours worked, 8/6 or 2/1 rosters, quality camp facilities, and a temp-to-permanent pathway with reputable mining companies.

Responsibilities

• Charge, stem and fire blast patterns.
• Work with electronic and non-electric detonator systems.
• Deliver blast plans safely and efficiently alongside drill and production crews.

Requirements

• WA Shotfirer’s Licence.
• Dangerous Goods Security Card.
• Open-pit mining experience with a strong safety focus.
• Experience with cast boosters and detonator systems.

Desirable

• HR Licence.
