About the Project

Be part of something big at Olympic Dam Mine, operated by BHP - the world's largest mining company. Located approximately 550km North-West of Adelaide, this site is a hub for copper, gold and uranium mining.

Since July 2023, Redpath has been delivering a 5-year-ground support contract, including:

• Shotcreting
• Cablebolting
• Batch Plant Operations
• Fleet maintenance

As one of the largest contractors on site, you'll gain invaluable experience and be part of a high performing team driving innovation in underground mining.

Responsibilities

Your role: Shotcrete SprayerOperate brand new Normet Spraymec rigs on a 14/14 roster, contributing to:In-cycle development shotcreteRehabilitation worksSpraying ventilation and paste wallsRoutine maintenance of equipment

About You / Requirements

• Proven experience operating Normet shotcreting machinery
• Valid manual drivers licence
• Underground mining experience
• Current First Aid & CPR qualifications
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently
• Positive attitude aligned with Redpath's motto: Consider it done - safety
• The ability to work well with others in a team environment as well as work unsupervised
• A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done — safely.

Qualifications & Certifications

• First Aid & CPR qualifications
• Valid manual drivers licence
