Shift Supervisor

About the Company

Our mining client is seeking a highly competent Shift Supervisor to oversee underground mining operations in Western Australia. This role is available on either a 7/7 or 2/2 FIFO roster, offering flexibility for candidates seeking work–life balance or a traditional rotation. An S26 Supervisor qualification is mandatory.

About the Role

• Direct supervision of underground crews to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations
• Coordination of daily activities including development, production, ground support, and services
• Implementation and monitoring of safety systems, statutory requirements, and operational procedures
• Conducting pre‑start meetings, workplace inspections, and incident reporting
• Liaising with engineers, management, and other departments to maintain operational continuity
• Providing leadership, coaching, and performance management to ensure high standards across the team

What you'll need to succeed

• Valid S26 Supervisor qualification (essential)
• Demonstrated experience in underground hard‑rock mining in a supervisory capacity
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance, safety legislation, and operational best practice
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and maintain a disciplined, safety‑focused work environment
• Excellent communication, organisational, and decision‑making skills
• Current WA C‑Class driving licence and relevant underground competencies
