SERVICEPERSON - FIFO to NT | 2:1 (permanency on offer)

Our client, a large mining contractor, is seeking a Serviceperson for their large project based in remote NT

The successful candidates will be responsible for working on Earthmoving/Mobile and Fixed Plant Equipment/Machinery.

This is a big project with a strong outlook to go permanent/full-time with the client and join them on additional projects across the country.

To be successful you will have the following -

• Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence (desirable).
• Trade Qualification (LV Mechanic - highly regarded).
• Experience working on Mobile/Fixed/Earthmoving Plant Equipment/Machinery (highly regarded).

Duties/responsibilities -

• Operating mobile equipment for maintenance and inspection purposes
• Perform basic mechanical work and daily servicing on the earthmoving machinery both in the field and the work shop
• Inspect machinery and monitor equipment condition
• Maintain oil, fuel and lubricant levels
• Maintain lubricant and machinery hours records
• Adhere to maintenance and servicing schedules
• Manage stock levels of oil, lubricant and fuel
• Providing assistance to fitters where needed
