Senior Structural/Civil Designer

We are seeking experienced Civil and Structural Designers to join a multidisciplinary engineering team delivering a range of industrial infrastructure and materials handling projects.

Opportunities available:

• Civil / Structural Designer (5+ years' experience)
• Senior Civil / Structural Designer (10+ years' experience)

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain 3D civil and structural design models for industrial and infrastructure projects.
• Produce detailed models for foundations, footings, slabs, plinths, retaining structures and other site infrastructure.
• Prepare structural models for buildings, transfer stations, conveyor systems and other heavy industrial facilities.
• Create detailed design drawings and drafting deliverables in accordance with Australian standards and project requirements.
• Produce 2D design documentation and construction drawings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and project coordination activities.
• Support both design and drafting functions across various project stages.

Required experience:

• Advanced Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil or Structural Design/Drafting.
• Strong experience using 3D modelling and drafting software within engineering or industrial project environments.
• Demonstrated capability producing civil and structural layouts, detailed design drawings and construction documentation.
• Experience working on infrastructure, mining, resources, industrial or processing facility projects.
• Understanding of Australian design and drafting standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within project delivery schedules.

Highly regarded:

• Experience designing bulk materials handling infrastructure.
• Exposure to heavy industrial plant, processing facilities or mining operations.
• Experience with structural steel modelling and detailing.
• Familiarity with model review and design coordination platforms.
• Experience working within common engineering document management systems.
