About the Company
Our client is a global technology and engineering organisation at the forefront of critical infrastructure, power management and energy efficiency solutions. With significant investment and a rapidly growing presence across Australia, the business is playing a key role in supporting the delivery of some of the country's largest critical power projects. As demand continues to grow, the organisation is expanding its project delivery team and seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major infrastructure projects in Melbourne.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale critical power infrastructure projects valued at $20M+. You will take ownership of project delivery from design and procurement through to installation, commissioning, operational handover and defect rectification. Working closely with contractors, consultants, clients, service partners and international manufacturing facilities, you will play a critical role in ensuring successful project outcomes across schedule, budget, safety and quality.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years' experience delivering large-scale electrical, critical infrastructure, renewable or power projects.
- Demonstrated end-to-end project management experience with responsibility for programme, commercial and delivery outcomes.
- Strong understanding of critical power infrastructure.
- Experience delivering projects involving UPS systems, switchgear, transformers, batteries, power distribution, busway or related technologies.
- Proven contract administration experience including EOTs, notices, variations and commercial claims.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, electrical infrastructure and WHS requirements.
- Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and client stakeholders on large construction projects.
- Exposure working with offshore engineering teams or manufacturing facilities.
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
