Pearl Recruitment Group is partnering with a respected Perth CBD-based engineering consultancy servicing the mining, mineral processing and materials handling sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing detailed project plans covering scope, budget, schedule, quality and resource requirements.
• Leading the delivery of mineral processing projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Managing project budgets, forecasts, schedules and resource allocation.
• Maintaining strong control over project costs and implementing measures to prevent budget overruns.
• Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery teams.
• Monitoring project progress and addressing potential cost, schedule, quality or delivery risks.
• Managing client relationships and providing clear project updates, reports and recommendations.
• Coordinating internal teams, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Ensuring engineering deliverables meet client requirements, project specifications and relevant standards.
• Managing scope changes, commercial requirements and project risks throughout delivery.
• Supporting procurement, construction, commissioning and project close-out activities.
• Driving continuous improvement across project planning, execution and delivery processes.

About You / Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years’ engineering and project delivery experience, including at least two years as a Project Manager on mineral processing projects.
• Proven experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, resources and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, resources and multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Strong forecasting, cost control, risk management, leadership and client stakeholder management skills.
• Previous experience within an EPCM or engineering consultancy environment will be highly regarded.
• Project management qualifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 (high advantageous).
