The Role

Reporting to the General Manager Projects, you will lead the safe planning, execution and delivery of significant capital projects that support the growth and long-term sustainable production for our Mt Magnet operations.

Ideally you will have extensive project management experience and knowledge across renewable energy developments, haul road and site infrastructure construction and processing plant expansions.

You will be working collaboratively across the operational teams including Processing, Health & Safety, Contracts & Procurement and external delivery partners to ensure successful project outcomes and operational readiness.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver of major capital projects through to commissioning and operational handover.
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while balancing production priorities and positive operational outcomes.
• Ensure project safety, scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk are effectively managed throughout the lifecycle.
• Establish governance processes that provide effective project control, reporting and decision making.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering project team members and external consultants and contractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved capital expenditure and business case commitments.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Tertiary level qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Mining or related discipline)
• Post graduate Project Management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Completion of LGIRS risk management units and examination required for appointment to the relevant statutory position.
• A current West Australian C Class (manual) driver's licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance.
