The Nitty Gritty

As one of our Senior Project Engineers, you’ll join our leading operation and play a key role in delivering capital projects that drive performance, reliability and growth.

Based out of our modern and friendly Brisbane corporate office, with site visits required, you’ll support projects from concept through to commissioning, working closely with operations, contractors and consultants to deliver safe, fit-for-purpose engineering solutions.

You’ll bring a strong background in mining, resources or heavy industry to lead projects from concept through to commissioning, along with technical expertise, practical problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across all phases of project delivery.

What You Bring

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a trade qualification.
• Proven experience delivering major and sustaining capital projects within mining, resources or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong technical capability across engineering design, electrical infrastructure, equipment selection, commissioning and operational handover.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams, contractors and OEMs while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• A sound understanding of project governance, risk management, contractual obligations and industry compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
• A current unrestricted C Class driver’s licence, with the ability and willingness to travel to our various work sites/locations as required.

Brisbane Corporate Office

Our Brisbane corporate office is the central hub supporting Aeris’ operating sites, development projects and care and maintenance teams across Australia. From here, our technical specialists, sustainability professionals, geology and exploration teams, and finance and people experts partner with our site teams to drive safe, efficient and productive performance.

Alongside day-to-day operational support, the Brisbane office provides strategic oversight and guidance – shaping plans, setting priorities and aligning operational delivery with Aeris’ broader business goals. This ensures our sites have what they need to operate safely and effectively today, while positioning the company for future growth and opportunity.
