Senior Planner

Our client, a leading Planning and Project Management Consultancy, is seeking a Senior Planner to lead and execute projects for various clientele in mining and resources, both at an operator and contractor level.

Lead a team of strong planners through the entire process and provide expertise to ensure deliverables are met. Also have the ability to go out and use your current connections and develop the ever evolving business scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead current and future project scopes from initial study stage to final delivery
• Manage and coordinate team of strong Planners to ensure project deliverables are completed on time
• Communicating with clients + key stakeholders updates and reports on project progress
• Managing cost controls and ensuring project is running on budgets provided by clientele

Requirements

• 5 - 10 years experience within a project planning function, within either Mining or Resources sectors
• Very strong attention to detail
• Primavera P6 experience - Essential
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead a team of planners and engineers in execution of project deliverables
