Senior Piping Engineer

About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Piping Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting a portfolio of sustaining capital works and major resource sector projects.

Working across a diverse range of mining infrastructure developments, you will play a key role in the design, specification and delivery of critical water and hydraulic systems, supporting project execution from concept through to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop piping and hydraulic system designs for mining and industrial applications
• Prepare engineering calculations, specifications and technical documentation
• Design and specify mine site water distribution systems and associated infrastructure
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver engineering outcomes
• Support project planning, technical reviews and design verification activities
• Undertake occasional site visits as required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 5+ years' experience in the mining and resources sector
• Strong experience in the hydraulic design and specification of mine site water systems
• Experience delivering piping and associated infrastructure projects
• Proficiency with FluidFlow, WaterGEMS, or similar hydraulic modelling software
• Knowledge of major mining company standards, systems and procedures
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Australian working rights
