About the Role
This is a hands-on, site-based role for someone who enjoys being out in the field, building relationships and working closely with operational teams. You'll act as a trusted safety partner across the project, helping leaders manage risk, supporting frontline crews and mentoring HSE team members. You'll also play a key role in investigations, audits, safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities across civil, electrical, high-voltage and commissioning works.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project leaders, supervisors and crews to manage risk and maintain a strong safety culture.
- Coach and mentor HSE Advisors and operational teams across a range of construction activities.
- Lead investigations, risk reviews, audits and site inspections to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build positive relationships across the workforce and drive engagement in safety initiatives.
- Provide practical advice and support to ensure compliance with project, client and legislative requirement.

About You / Requirements
- Experience in a Senior HSE Advisor role on renewable energy projects.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to positively influence people at all levels.
- Experience leading investigations, managing risk and driving safety improvement initiatives.
- A practical, down-to-earth approach to safety and a genuine passion for supporting people in the field.
- Willingness to FIFO on a 10/4 roster and be able to travel via Brisbane for early flights to Mount Isa.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety
- Diploma or equivalent safety qualification
