Senior Electrical Engineer

Join a major resources-sector engineering environment and deliver electrical design across complex mining and materials handling applications.

The Role

You will be responsible for producing high-quality electrical engineering and design deliverables, including:

• Preparing project specifications, design reports and engineering calculations
• Developing detailed electrical engineering documentation
• Preparing HV and LV single line diagrams
• Developing HV and LV cable route layouts
• Preparing electrical schematics and termination documentation
• Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
• Supporting the delivery of designs in line with project requirements and applicable standards

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to work within an experienced engineering team on complex resources-sector work, with exposure to both HV and LV electrical design.

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Previous electrical engineering experience within mining or materials handling
• Strong experience preparing technical specifications, calculations and design documentation
• Experience with HV and LV electrical design and documentation
• Ability to produce accurate, high-quality engineering deliverables
• Underground mining experience would be advantageous, but is not essential
