This role offers the opportunity to work on modern cloud data platforms, delivering high-quality data products and supporting advanced analytics and AI-driven initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions while working across both data engineering and analytics domains.

Your new role

As a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and optimising enterprise-grade data solutions, ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality data products that enable business insights and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines.
• Build and enhance data ingestion frameworks across multiple source systems.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and reliability across data platforms.
• Deliver production-ready data products that support operational and analytical outcomes.
• Perform complex data transformations to support reporting, analytics, and business requirements.
• Develop and maintain semantic data models that enable effective data consumption.
• Support feature engineering activities for AI and machine learning use cases.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, engineers, and architects.
• Monitor, optimise, and support data solutions throughout the development lifecycle.

What you'll need to succeed

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Advanced SQL development and optimisation skills.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and analytics workloads.
• Proven experience designing and developing enterprise-scale data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data ingestion, transformation, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience delivering production-ready data products within complex environments.
• Exposure to analytical modelling and feature engineering practices.
• Ability to work across both data engineering and analytics-focused initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Highly Desirable

• Experience working with Snowflake CoWork.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex.
• Experience developing or supporting AI/ML-enabled data products.
• Exposure to AI-driven analytics and advanced data solutions.
• Experience working within large enterprise or complex project environments.
