About the Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Engineering Superintendent and work on an 8:6 roster.

Your focus will be on managing a portfolio of projects to assist delivery of the capital project plan.

This is a 12-month Maximum Term Contract.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical expertise to support informed decision-making and problem solving.
• Developing and maintaining engineering design capability to ensure designs are fit for purpose – whilst being safe, practical to construct and maintain, and compliant with operational requirements.
• Managing engineering consultants and undertaking technical reviews.
• Reviewing construction methodologies, staging and sequencing to optimise project cost, schedule and mitigate risk.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have previous civil project engineering experience, including knowledge of greenfield project development, site establishment, and commissioning.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil or Geotechnical).
• Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor training and assessment.
• Exposure to project management, including scheduling and budgeting.
• Experience in civil construction (e.g. earthworks, concrete foundations).
• Expertise in contractor management and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Familiarity with the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Regulations 2022.
• A current C-class manual driver’s licence.
